1. Introduction
Welcome to DJ Request ("Service"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. The Service is operated by DJ Request and provides a real-time song request platform for DJs and their audiences.
2. Account Terms
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Accounts are created via Google OAuth and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your authenticated session. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
3. Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period after cancellation. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction. You may not upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. You must not abuse, harass, or threaten other users of the Service. You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or other security measures. Automated or bot-driven requests are prohibited.
5. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon account deletion, all your data (including venues, requests, messages, and catalogue) will be permanently removed. Active Stripe subscriptions will be cancelled automatically upon account deletion.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service and delete your account.
